Colladoc changes format of comments
Reported by Petr Hosek | October 31st, 2010 @ 03:04 AM | in 1.0 Beta 2
The merged-in comments from colladoc have use slightly changed formatting rules which pollutes changes sets and makes merging hard.
The format is changed from
/*
*/
in the Scala library sources to now
/**
*
*/
Even if this may be the more reasonable format, Colladoc should follow the projects standards to make working with VCS not unnecessary hard.

I reported it in Scala's bug tracker as well: https://lampsvn.epfl.ch/trac/scala/ticket/3734

This issue is related to scaladoc-merge tool rather than Colladoc which is not modifying the comments. We plan to address this issue during future scaladoc-merge tool rework which is being planned.
